Chris Adler " Your Mentor Groovi Drummer"

Chris Adler (Christopher James Adler) 23 Nov 1972 is an Lamb of God Drummer ”The Groove Metal Band”. when he was a toddler, Chris playing with broken sticks from his backyard on his parents coffee cans.He grew up and studied years of Piano with his mother a singer,Pianist and performer himself.Through middle school Chris learned alto saxophone and acoustic guitar before setting on studying bass guitar. Through High School and College, Chris performed in multiple bands and recording project.

Adler had played in several local bands before joining Lamb of God in 1994. And right now,In july 2015 confirmed on Jamey Jasta’s podcast that he is also joining Megadeth as a full member and will be Touring with them during the upcoming Album cycle.Megadeth and Lamb of God have announced a co-headlining of the U.K. and Ireland Tour in 2015,and on those five dates, and Chris Adler will be playing more than your average drummer. The Lamb of God musician, who played drums on Megadeth’s upcoming album, will be performing with both bands during the shows.

According to DRUM Magazine, Adler describes his first drum kit as a disaster:

“The bass drum legs were different lengths so they wouldn't touch the ground at the same time. Every time I would hit it, it would wobble from left to right. The cymbal stands were duct taped together, and I think after two or three times playing the kit, the pedalboard actually broke in half because it was made of that crappy old fake metal."

Adler attended Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, Virginia; Adler attended college at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia where he met current bandmates John Campbell and Mark Morton. His inspirations include former Wrathchild America and current Godsmack drummer Shannon Larkin and Stewart Copeland of The Police. Other influences are John Bonham, Dave Lombardo, Gar Samuelson, Lars Ulrich, Brann Dailor and Gene Hoglan. On August 9 2014 ABC News radio asked Adler in an interview if he did the drums for the new Slipknot single "The Negative One". Adler responded with "I can't confirm nor deny it".

Late last year, drummer Shawn Drover and guitarist Chris Broderick left Megadeth and this year Adler and Kiko Loureiro were added to the lineup. In an interview from earlier this month, Adler recently talked about playing in both bands. The drummer said that as soon as he was offered the job, he asked his Lamb of God bandmates their thoughts. He also answered the question of what would happen if he was forced to chose between the two acts.
He revealed, “If ever it came to a point where there was a question of this or that, it’s gonna be Lamb of God. Lamb of God is my baby. Being in Megadeth is kind of like I’m helping babysit somebody else’s kid. I love being there, but it’s not … that’s not where home is to me … Again, if ever a question came up, I’m staying with you guys.”

Before Lamb starts its coheadlining tour with Slipknot later, Adler will already have made his debut with Megadeth. Mustaine just sent him the set list so he can start rehearsing. "It's 22 songs spanning, I don't know, 14 albums? I'm like, 'Holy sh*t!' For the past couple days I've been playing along to those. I leave next Wednesday so I won't have access to rehearse Megadeth songs. I've got like a week to get in there and really woodshed as much as I can."

Adler loves his job in Lamb Of God, and he's gone to pains to reassure everyone, in and out of the band, of this fact. "I'm extremely proud of this latest album." But when a good thing comes along, he seizes it, and passing up Megadeth because of potential touring conflicts would be a lame move. Still, he has no illusions about the juggling act ahead. "It's going to be very difficult. I think my biggest concern is my family and my daughter. The workload with Lamb Of God is already enough to make me feel guilty, so this is going to be a big challenge for me moving forward."

Chris often get awarded The Best Drum Player of The Years. For someone as restless as Adler, a challenge is the whole point. "I really prefer having the problem of opportunity than lack thereof, so I'm just going to do my best."
