When Lamb of God on your Street

If you happen to be at a Lamb of God signing or if you happen to see guitarist Mark Morton on the street, don't bother trying to give him your band's demo. Seriously, he won't listen to it.
Before you start to say about Mark, hear him out! He recently explained why in a series of tweets, and it makes perfect sense:
“Years ago, some aspiring band gave us their demo to listen to. Sometime  after that unremarkable incident, they presented us with a law suit…they claimed that upon hearing their crappy demo, we stole some of their music and released as our own without compensating them…those allegations were (of course) completely untrue, & the whole thing went away as quickly as it had appeared….but….THAT, my good friends, is why I don’t want to hear your demo. As so often happens in life…one asshole ruins it for everybody!”
I mean, you can't fault the guy. It makes perfect sense to me. Morton is a professional musician and does not want to risk running into legal problems again. Plus, I've spoken to many guitarists who have said that they don't even listen to metal anymore because they don't want to subconsciously be influenced by other trends.
