Metallica released the album To donate to the victims in Paris

US metal band Metallica released the album which is the result of the recording of their concert at the theater Le Bataclan, Paris, France, on June 11, 2003.

They released an album titled "Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite, Metallica!-Live at Le Bataclan that as ambassadors of the Record Store Day 2016.

All profits from sales of the album will be donated directly to the victims of the attacks associated with firearms and bombs in Paris, which occurred on 13 November 2015 local time.

A total of 130 people were killed in the attack, including at Le Bataclan theater when the show group Eagles of Death Metal is ongoing. Meanwhile, 398 people were injured.

Album Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite, Metallica! -Live At Le Bataclan will be purchased on 16 April 2016 for indie record stores and the band's website.


Record Store Day for the first time held in 2008. Since then, Record Store Day is held annually on the third Saturday of April.

Hopefully, that's when people go to indie record stores for shopping. About Metallica and Record Store Day, a replica of the recording of the demo song No Life 'til Leather (1982) the band became the best selling release on Record Store Day 2015.


In a video on the band's website, James Hetfield, Metallica's lead singer and guitarist, said that they had long supported independent retail.
